Our story
Our roots stretch back to humble beginnings in 2014. Every day, our partners enthusiastically come together to create the perfect fresh cup at our locations across North America.
We are a family business with a father and son duo. From the new café owner to the corporate partner to our coffee farmers, we treat them like family. We are dedicated, friendly, approachable, reliable and informed. Relationships are important to Caffé Monte. The connections between our farmers and our cafes are equally valued.
We know the importance of quality and consistency in our specialty coffees and together as a team we produce some of the finest coffees. We believe in small batch roasting and sourcing the finest, ethical and specialty coffees.

The roasting plant
We know how important it is to source the best green coffees from around the world, but we also know how important it is to use world-class coffee roasting equipment.
Committed to small batch roasting, we started with our 2.5kg roaster and as we grew we added a 25kg roaster, then a 50kg roaster. Because we source our machines from Diedrich Roasters, we can make the perfect, clean cup every time.
Our roasters are both manual and automatic, meaning we can manually roast the perfect cup and once we've achieved the perfect profile, we can save the roast. As a result, the roaster roasts to the perfect recipe every time, producing a consistent cup every time.
Small batch roasting ensures clean, noticeable flavors in your cup. Put simply, we can refine a small batch during the roasting process. Larger roasters simply don't have the ability to accurately control all variables during the roasting process.
